Homoeopathy
Homoeopathy is a system of medicine which works
by treating like with like. It uses tiny amounts of substances occurring in
nature to stimulate the body's ability to heal itself. Being very gentle, it
can be used by people of all ages, is safe to use in pregnancy and in
conjunction with conventional medication as it works on a different level.
Examples of conditions which respond well to homoeopathy are hay fever, asthma,
allergies, some skin complaints, bowel problems, menstrual disorders, emotional
and behavioural disturbances in children and adults, musculo-skeletal
difficulties and many others. It can also be used very effectively to treat
people with acute ailments such as coughs, colds, flu, childhood illnesses etc.
Reiki
In a Reiki treatment Universal healing energy is
channeled through the practitioner to where it is most needed. It is gentle but
powerful and heals by restoring balance in the systems of the body. Reiki is
deeply relaxing and brings relief from ailments such as stress, anxiety and
depression. On a physical level, it can be used to assist in the treatment of
simple things like coughs, colds and flu and also is very effective when used
as part of the treatment of more serious conditions.
